Vice President of Membership and Finance

The Vice President of Membership and Finance (VP of MF) is the APhA-ASP bookkeeper and is responsible for maintaining the budget, keeping records of financial transactions, and paying the bills. In addition, duties of membership and fundraising activities also fall under the jurisdiction of the VP of MF. APhA-ASP has allotments within the budget to help APhA-­ASP members pay a portion of registration at professional association meetings. It is the VP of MF’s responsibility to inform the students of the upcoming meeting deadlines, availability of funding, and requirements to be eligible for any share in reimbursement. APhA-ASP members often receive reference books and textbooks at a substantial discount and the VP of MF orchestrates these promotions as well.
