The APhA-ASP Chapter President’s primary responsibility is to represent the University of the Pacific Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (TJL SOPHS) and its students at professional association meetings and school events. The Chapter President is responsible for preparing the agenda for monthly APhA-ASP general and weekly board meetings, as well as scheduling and chairing the meetings. All are welcome and encouraged to attend the monthly general APhA-ASP general meetings.

The President works closely with the other ASP Board members on planning and orchestrating professional projects and social events. Chapter Achievement Reports, documented events, and accomplishments of the ASP chapter are submitted to ASP by the Executive Board in conjunction with the Executive Advisory Committee once a year and reflect the involvement and efforts of the student body.
