VP Professional Affairs
Many students get involved with APhA-ASP through one of the many Professional Affairs Committees. As the chairperson of all the professional committees, it is the responsibility as Vice President of Professional Affairs (VP of PA) to oversee the activities of the individual committees. Other duties include arranging a monthly Professional Affairs Board meeting and developing a professional affairs budget. Also, the VP of PA sits on the San Joaquin Pharmacists Association Board with a standing vote. Professional involvement is an excellent opportunity for students to participate and become involved in the pharmacy profession. It is also a great way to become exposed to important issues regarding the future of pharmacy. The VP of PA also sets up booths representing the TJL SOPHS and its students at state and national association meetings.
